Senior Web Test Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Web Test Automation Engineer with strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and deep automation expertise - someone who shapes quality as part of system design, solves complex engineering challenges and drives high-impact automation across the product. What you will do
As a Senior Web Test Automation Engineer, you will:
Design and build modern, developer-friendly automation frameworks
Make architectural decisions on how tests are structured, executed, scaled and integrated into CI/CD
Develop clean, efficient JavaScript/TypeScript code for testing infrastructure, web tooling and integration scenarios
Improve reliability and coverage through well-designed, efficient test suites
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to align test design with product architecture
Investigate complex failures, improve tooling and drive automation best practices
Participate in code reviews and influence how quality is embedded into the product

You’re a software engineer specializing in test automation, with strong engineering fundamentals and a proven track record of shaping high-impact solutions. You thrive on ownership, influence and tackling technical challenges head-on.
Must have skills
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript development skills
Experience with Playwright or Cypress/WebdriverIO/Nightwatch, with willingness to switch
Proven experience designing and building test automation frameworks
Good understanding of test automation for complex web applications
Experience contributing to CI/CD-driven, fully automated testing pipelines
Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar CI systems
Strong communication, ownership and collaboration skills
Nice to have skills

Knowledge of C#/.NET, Python and Robot Framework
Experience with modern web stacks (React, Vite, WebAssembly, WebGPU, bundlers)
Experience designing developer tooling or test-driven build pipelines
Familiarity with cloud or virtual environments (AWS, EC2, Docker, VMware)
Understanding of performance testing, reliability testing or load testing
